R3 Wound Care Clinical staff

June is Wound Healing Awareness Month

The American Board of Wound Management reports there are 6.7 million people currently suffering from non-healing wounds. Often, healing is complicated and slowed by underlying conditions such as diabetes, venous or arterial problems, unrelieved pressure, radiation tissue damage, and infection.

R3 Wound Care and Hyperbarics exists today for this reason.  We believe that no one should have to live with a troublesome wound.  We treat a variety of chronic wounds and conditions through individualized treatment plans our wound care specialists develop with our patients.  We opened our first clinic in 2014 to answer the community’s need for high-quality outpatient wound care administered in a comfortable, refreshing atmosphere.

We treat wounds of all types, including:
• Diabetic wounds and ulcers
• Radiation wounds and complications
• Surgery injuries
• Trauma injuries
• Other conditions such as bites and infections

• Any wound that is not healing properly

Treatment of these wounds can range from debridement, or the removal of dead skin and tissue, to advanced wound treatments including hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

If you or someone you know is suffering from a non-healing or slow healing wound, contact our team of experts at R3 Wound Care and Hyperbarics at 817-337-6604 or visit www.r3healing.com. We will help you heal as quickly and effectively as possible so that you can get back to your best life.
