Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, also known as HBOT, is a proven medical procedure that has been in use since 1936, when it was first used to treat deep-sea divers for decompression sickness or “the bends.” Today, HBOT is used to help heal a variety of injuries and conditions by delivering pressurized 100% oxygen directly to the blood cells, plasma, cerebrospinal fluid, bones, and lymph.

It speeds healing, enhances the white blood cells’ ability to fight infections, and promotes development of new capillaries, the tiny blood vessels that connect arteries to veins. HBOT also helps build new connective tissuesand can improve organ function.
